Surprising visitors to the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum at Udvar-Hazy on December 2, the band melted in from amongst museum visitors to provide a heartwarming start to the Christmas season. Musicians used walkways and overlooks to provide aspects of the performance from above and below, filling every corner of the massive hangar with glorious sound. Nine cameras and forty wireless mikes were used to capture the performance.
Best part of this final edit is that it captures the reactions of the lucky crowd present that day– from awed little ones to an elderly couple struggling to catch the magic moment on a smartphone.
