9 New Movies & TV Shows That You Should Watch on Netflix in April

It’s the beginning of a new month, which means there’s a whole bunch of new movies and TV shows coming to Netflix. Here are 9 must-see new things coming to the very popular online streaming service this month.

    1. Derek: Special. Ricky Gervais is back as Derek in a new special of the very popular British TV show. Available on April 3rd.

    1. Crank. This is one of the zaniest action movies you’ll ever watch. Jason Statham stars as Chev Chelios, a man on a mission for more adrenaline! Available on 9th.
    1. Marvel’s Daredevil: Season 1. Marvel’s first TV show that will be exclusively on Netflix. The comic book movie studio is starting to expand to online streaming, while building its street-level characters. Available on April 10th.  Get some Daredevil facts on this disabled superhero here.

    1. The Babadook. One of the best and scariest movies of 2014, The Babadook is coming to Netflix! Available on April 14th.
    1. Hot Fuzz. Edgar Wright’s action parody is one of the British director’s best movies. I know I’ll be re-watching this movie all month. Available on April 16th.
    1. They Came Together. David Wain’s send up of romantic comedies is coming to Netflix in April. If you’re a fan of Wet Hot American Summer or The State on MTV, then They Came Together is a must watch. Available on April 17th.
    1. Noah. While Noah isn’t the best movie from Darren Aronofsky, it’s an interesting attempt in the director making a big budget Hollywood blockbuster. Available on April 18th.
    1. A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night. This is a smaller film, but it’s one of the most interesting horror movies that has come out over the last five years. On its surface, it’s a vampire movie, but it’s something much more than that. Available on April 21st.
    1. National Treasure. Why not!? It’s Nicolas Cage looking for buried treasure with Diane Kruger! Available on April 27th.
